During Business Hours
The Counseling Center provides crisis care for safety-related emergencies. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency during business hours, please call 303-273-3377 or come to the front desk on the 2nd floor of the Wellness Center and request a crisis appointment. Students presenting for crisis care are asked to complete crisis paperwork to help the counselor understand their situation and determine the urgency of their need. A brief crisis appointment will be set to address immediate safety concerns, stabilization and follow up options. If a counselor is not available, students will be referred to crisis resources in the community.
Please use the flow chart below to help determine appropriate steps.
Our counselors are trained and experienced in providing crisis intervention services.
