What happens IF MY exam IS online?  Do I need to schedule exams in aim?

The Mines Testing Center is available to support students with accommodations for proctored in-person and online exams.  For online exams, do not need to schedule to take their exams in the MTC unless that is needed for some reason.  Faculty should be able to make adjustments in the online platform to support applicable testing accommodations (e.g. extended time).  Please communicate with your instructors to discuss your exam accommodations.  Please contact The Testing Center  (testingcenter@mines.edu) with questions or to problem solve individual situations.

Notice of 2 business days is required to submit an exam request with the Mines Testing Center.  We highly encourage students to schedule exams for the entire semester in advance.

For online/remote exams, students do not need to schedule to take their test with the Testing Center.

If you are looking for a quiet place to take the exam, Mines has created a webpage listing socially distanced study spaces across campus: https://www.mines.edu/coronavirus/return/socially-distanced-study-spaces/.
