Mines Disability Support Services (DSS)

Disability Support Services (DSS) is the office to contact for students, parents, and faculty who seek information about disability accommodations for students, including documentation guidelines and types of accommodations available at Mines.  Requests for accommodations and required documentation should be sent to Disability Support Services for review and determination of eligibility. DSS staff coordinates with other campus entities for approved accommodations.

Mines Testing Center (MTC)

The Mines Testing Center (MTC) is primarily resourced to administer exams to students receiving accommodations.  Please contact Ramsey Williams directly with inquiries related to testing in the center.

Mines Counseling Center 

The Mines Counseling Center provides support to students registered with Disability Support Services.  Counseling Center staff counsels individually as well as works with students to develop academic skills in the areas of time management, procrastination, organization, concentration/focus strategies, study skills and test taking.  Additionally, the Mines Counseling Center offers workshops for students on a variety of topics such as, anxiety, effective communication, mindfulness, stress management and self-care techniques.
