Classroom Equity & Inclusion Learning Community

Poster

overview

The classroom equity and inclusion learning community is a space for instructors to engage in dialogue and learn about equity in the classroom, share experiences, learn from one another and learn from experts.

benefits of community

  • You have experienced an incident of bias in your class and want to improve the way you respond to and support student learning.
  • You want to prepare for difficult conversations about race, equity or appropriate behavior with your class.
  • You want access to experts, resources and colleagues who are also interested in equity in the classroom.

join us

The learning community is open to the Mines community, however, content and topics are designed with academic faculty and graduate teaching assistants in mind.

Advance sign-up required. Email Dr. Amy E. Landis amylandis@mines.edu to join the community. Calendar invite (access link included) and agenda will be sent to all participants prior to each meeting.
