Dear Faculty and Staff.

I communicated with you Friday regarding the Bright Horizons Crisis Care back-up care benefit for children, adults and seniors. Bright Horizons has communicated with Mines that they have made the decision to suspend this benefit. However, Mines employees can get an identical benefit as an out-of-network care or MyCare Assist benefit. You can be reimbursed $100 per day for care that you arrange on your own up to our benefit maximum of 10 days per year. This could be for care provided by a friend, family member or relative. To access this benefit you must be registered with Bright Horizons. See the attached flyer for registration information. Your caregiver does not need to be registered. To access this benefit contact Bright Horizons at 1-877-BH-CARES (242-2737) and request to use the out-of-network/MyCare Assist benefit as your primary option. You can also make back-up care requests as normal.

If you have questions please contact the Benefits Office at ahix@mines.edu.

Kind Regards,
Ann
