People of Mines Glaciology

The Mines Glaciology Laboratory is a collaboration between faculty, postdoctoral scholars, PhD students, Master’s students, undergraduate students, and community college and high school interns. We explore science questions about the Earth’s cryosphere, from snow in our backyard to lakes under a mile of ice in Antarctica. We also think about how we can apply what we learn on Earth to better understand the cryosphere of other planetary bodies in our solar systems. Although many of people below call our group their primary academic home, we love hosting temporary visitors from across Mines and from institutions around the world join our group as well.
