If you don’t find your ideal study abroad experience listed on our website, you are allowed to create your own adventure! If you wish to get credit for an independent study abroad program, you are required to first schedule a study abroad advising appointment with the Education Abroad Advisor or a Study Abroad Peer Advisor to discuss your plans to study abroad independently. You can then apply for an independent program through the Independent Study Abroad application and select the appropriate term.
