Steps to Completion

Submit Certificate Audit Form

  • Students complete this form at least one semester prior to their completion term, when they have finished and/or registered for all their courses. See Deadlines and Forms page for deadlines.
  • Required for all certificate students
  • The completion application will be filed by the Office of Graduate Studies when the Certificate Audit form has been processed.

Completion and Awarding

Given the program’s shorter time-frame, no formal commencement ceremony is held for certificate students. However, individual programs may celebrate students’ completion of their certificates; please check with the program director.

The certificates will be awarded within 10 business days from the last day of the term and a free electronic Certificate will be issued approximately 3 weeks later.
