University Honors and Scholars (UHS) cultivate a Mines+ education beyond the traditional boundaries of the classroom and across learning communities. By emboldening interdisciplinary collaboration and experiential learning, UHS foster critical thinking, leadership, creativity and innovation.

These programs cut across engineering, liberal arts and sciences to foster a sense of fulfillment for our graduates by broadening and deepening experiences beyond their technical expertise. UHS opportunities include: interdisciplinary honors pathways, immersive scholars activities, Ethics Bowl participation, research, mentorship and teaching.
