Jared Breakall earned his bachelor’s degree in chemistry education from Brigham Young University- Idaho in 2014. Following this, he taught middle school chemistry before entering graduate school at Purdue University where he earned his Ph.D. in chemical education research in 2019. His research during graduate school focused on characterizing and improving multiple-choice assessment practices in general chemistry courses.
Following graduate school, he worked as a postdoctoral research fellow at the Colorado School of Mines where he conducted research on Grade 7-12 teacher recruitment with the Get the Facts Out Project.
