The Colorado School of Mines is celebrating their 150th Anniversary during Homecoming Weekend on Friday, September 27, 2024 from 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. This celebration, referred to as “Blaster’s Bash”, includes the unveiling of a Sesquicentennial Bell, a new monument in front of Guggenheim Hall. The event will take place on Kafadar and Startton Commons, and in front of Guggenheim Hall.
A special events permit has been submitted to the City of Golden for the event, and the following street closures have been requested for the event. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.

Northbound traffic will be detoured west on 17th St. north on Elm St., east on West Campus Rd, north on Maple St. (green route on map)

Southbound traffic will be detoured west on 14th St., south on Maple St., west on West Campus Rd, south on Elm St. (green route on map)
