The west lane of Illinois Street between 19th and 21st Streets will be closed for utility work during daytime hours (7 AM to 7 PM) starting on December 16th, 2024 and ending on January 2, 2025. Note that both traffic lanes on Illinois will be opened on December 25th and January 1st. The closure is necessary for utility work for the Mines Sophomore Residence Hall project.
The single lane closure will be marked with cones and with traffic controlled by flaggers. Please view the graphic below for details on barricades and signage for this closure.
