Enrolled over the Summer?

If you’re taking classes in the summer, or beginning your campus career during the summer months, a permit is required to park your vehicle on campus. Annual campus permits are sold year-round, and expire August 1st. Permits are sold at prorated costs (you will only be charged for the duration of time remaining on the permit). To purchase an annual campus permit, follow the instructions listed on the students link from the home page.

If you are a non-Mines student attending classes over the summer, please fill out the summer permit request form. If the department is paying for your permit, you can email the form to parking@mines.edu making sure to indicate which department and faculty representative is paying for the permit. If you are paying for your own permit, please bring the filled out form to the Parking Services office.

If you are in the Challenge program, getting a permit for the summer does not indicate that you will receive a permit for the upcoming fall and spring semesters.  Freshmen living in the residence halls during the fall and spring semester are only authorized a parking permit if one is obtained through the waiver process.  See the Freshman Resident page for detailed information.

Summer permits are valid until August 1st.
