Advanced Placement (AP) Credit
AP credit will be automatically awarded to admitted students once official AP scores are received by Mines from College Board, which is normally mid-July. Credit cannot be awarded from another institution’s transcript. Make sure you’ve ordered your free test report from College Board by June 30. Rush orders are generally not necessary. Information about how to send your scores is located on the CollegeBoard website: https://apstudent.collegeboard.org/
Students wishing to decline credit must submit the Decline AP, IB or Transfer Credit form after discussing it with their CASA advisor.
Unless otherwise listed, 100-Level Free Electives (FREE 1XX) are always granted at the value of 3.0 semester hours.
