Transfer Evaluation System (TES)

Transfer Evaluation System (TES)

The Transfer Evaluation System (TES) is a tool used by the Colorado School of Mines that may be used to see how previously reviewed courses from other accredited institutions transferred to Mines.

Course equivalencies in TES should be considered unofficial and they do not guarantee that transfer credit will be awarded.  However, courses listed in the TES database have been evaluated by Mines faculty and staff based on course descriptions and syllabi.

Note:

  • Effort has been made to provide accurate and current information, but decisions regarding course equivalency is subject to change without notice.
  • Not all courses at other institutions have been evaluated and therefore may not be listed.

The registrar’s office and/or the respective academic departments will make final determination of transfer credit acceptance after students are admitted and after official transcripts have been received.

Use  the Transfer Equivalency System guide to learn how to use TES.

If you have questions about the transfer evaluation process, please email transfer@mines.edu.
