Housing Sign-up Timeline for Incoming First-Year Students

April 1 – May 15 The housing application will be available on Trailhead for first-year students to submit personal contact information, emergency contact information, create a roommate profile or use the option to select a roommate.

The applications for Theme Learning Communities (TLCs) can be accessed through the links within the housing application on Trailhead.

If you are a student with a documented disability and/or dietary accommodation and you are considering enrolling at Mines and living on campus, you should contact Disability Support Services (DSS) as early as possible to receive the full benefit of services available. Register and provide documentation of your disability directly to Disability Support Services.

By May 31 Dates and time slots are assigned to all incoming students during the month of June to self-select hall and room. Dates and times are based on the Admissions Enrollment Deposit date.
 June 1 – June 30 Sign back into your housing application to select your hall and room on your assigned date and time.

Housing Sign-up Timeline for Returning Upperclass Students

Lottery Please keep in mind that upperclass housing is very limited. There are spaces for about 180 upper-class students in Maple and Mines Park. All applications are entered into a lottery and rooms will be offered based on that lottery process. You may submit your application any time, when you submit your application has no bearing on the lottery.
Maple Hall

The Housing Process for folks applying for housing in Maple Hall will begin on Feb 1 at 10 am and will remain open until Feb 3 at 11:59 pm. The application can be found on your Trailhead account

Mines Park Apartments
March 1-3
The Housing Process for folks applying for housing in Mines Park will begin on March 1 at 10 am and will remain open until March 3 at 11:59 pm. The application can be found on your Trailhead account.

Keep in mind that if you receive an offer of a space in Maple Hall and you accept that offer, you are ineligible to apply for housing at Mines Park.

You will need to work with Disability Support Services to request accommodations.
What is the cost to live on campus?

These rates are proposed rates and will not be finalized until the Board of Trustees meets in May 2018. We hope that sharing these proposed rates allow you and your family to plan ahead for possible rates for the 2018-2019 academic year. 

Fall 2018 and Spring 2019
Single – $4,773.00 per semester
Double – $3,847.00 per semester
Triple – $3,248.00 per semester

Apartments at Mines Park
All apartment rates are per month per unit. Residents will be responsible for their Xcel Utilities. Rates below include laundry, internet, TV streaming services (Philo, HBOGo, & MaxGo), water, and trash.

Single Student
