Humanitarian Engineering High-School Volunteer

Rosalie O’Brien is a M.S. student in Civil and Environmental Engineering.  Her research  focuses on utilizing local knowledge to foster appropriate remediation objectives for artisanal and small-scale gold mining communities. She is co-advised by Dr. Nicole Smith and Dr. Kathleen Smits from the University of Texas at Arlington.
