Whistleblower Policy

At Mines we follow established guidance that sets forth ethical obligations for all employees to demonstrate the highest standards of integrity and honesty and to report wrongdoing of any kind including violations of laws, regulations or policies. This guidance can be found in Section 6.2.3 of Faculty Handbook and the State of Colorado Employee Handbook.

The Mines Whistleblower Policy establishes guidelines for whistleblower reports made in good faith. Mines community members (employees, faculty, students, vendors, etc.) may report without fear of reprisal or retaliation. Employees and students are encouraged to first report to their immediate supervisor or academic advisor, respectively.
