ALEXANDRA DEMOPOULOS

Assistant Director of Student Engagement

Personal Points of Interest:

Although I am originally from Wisconsin I have called Colorado home for the past 5 years. When I am not at work I am probably wandering in the mountains with my red heeler Angus, rock climbing or traveling.

 

 Alexis Lakers

  • Oversee all Greek Life Organizations
  • Provide educational programming for leadership development
  • Advise the Panhellenic and Interfraternity Councils
  • Serve as a primary source of support for Greek students
  • Develop partnerships between the Greek community and campus

Personal Points of Interest: Coming from the great state of Texas, I am super excited to experience Colorado and all it has to offer! My hobbies include going to the gym, spending time with my dog Haden, and attending music festivals and sporting events whenever I can.

    Personal points of Interest:I have lived all over the country in New Jersey, Virginia, Missouri, Texas, and Wyoming. I love to travel and am working to get to all 50 states and all of America’s National Parks. My hobbies include disc golfing, hiking, camping, and roasting my own coffee. I have two dachshunds Stella and Faith that love to play and be outside.

     DeAnna Torrez

    Finance Coordinator

    Duties:

    • Serves as the Finance Coordinator for both the Student Activities, Involvement & Leadership (SAIL) office and the Office of New Student and Transition Services (NeST)
    • Oversight of Finances for the Clubs and Organizations Community
    • Supervises the SAIL Front Desk Staff and the SAIL Student Finance Lead
    • Serves as one of the Advisors to the Board of Student Organizations (BSO)

    Personal Points of Interest: Although I have never skiied, I am proud to say I am from Colorado! I love country music, sports, cooking and most importantly spending time with my loved ones.

     MARILYNN GALLEGOS

    Duties:

    • Manage policies and procedures surround clubs and orgs
    • Co-Advisors to the Board of Student Organizations (BSO)
    • Coordinates all training for student orgs
    • Approves new student orgs
    • Supports Mines campus tradition events

    Personal points of interest: Colorado has become my home over the past 7 years so I consider myself a Colorado transplant!  I take up any opportunity to camp, hike, or kayak with my dogs Eddie and Truffles!
