About Second Year and Beyond Choice Meal Plans
Second Year and Beyond Choice meal plans are available to students living off-campus, in Greek Housing, 1750 Jackson, at Mines Park Apartments, and starting in Fall 2026, Lookout Apartments.
ALL SECOND YEAR AND BEYOND CHOICE MEAL PLAN SALES ARE FINAL
Please ensure your selection is correct prior to selecting a meal plan – the purchases are final and cannot be exchanged or refunded.
Please note our upcoming dining outage from May 16th to May 31st. On-campus retail dining will be limited to Starbucks and Elements during that time. We look forward to serving you again on June 1st!
Summer meal plans will be available for purchase on June 1st, 2026.
Students who already have meal plans have the option to purchase additional Munch Money in $25 increments. If you would like to purchase additional Munch Money, please email blastercard@mines.edu

Summer Meal Plans will be available for purchase on June 1st, 2026. All unused swipes and munch money will expire on August 20th.

Munch Money rolls over from Fall to Spring. All unused swipes and munch money will expire at the conclusion of the Spring Semester.
Don’t miss our Early Bird deal from May 1st – July 31st: Early Bird purchases include an additional $50 of Munch Money! These plans will not be active prior to August 22nd, 2026.

- The meals in each plan are ONLY for Mines Market. If a meal plan has exchanges, those can be used at select locations on campus. Each location has selected times when meal exchanges can be used.
- All meal plans (and accompanying “munch money”) that are available through MINES Dining are accessed with proximity chip embedded in BlasterCard. Each Mines Dining location on campus will use your BlasterCard to track meal swipes or confirm a “munch money” payment.
- NEW in Fall 2026: We are launching a new website and app to monitor your meal swipes. Stay tuned for more information!
- For students living in a residence hall, (Bradford, Elm, Maple, Morgan, Spruce, Randall, and Weaver Towers) please email housing@mines.edu for more information or to change your meal plan.
