Teach@Mines offers three distinct pathways towards a teaching career, that support students in meeting requirements to obtain their teaching license after graduation. Teach@Mines helps you explore the teaching profession through a variety of courses and field work. In addition, Teach@Mines programs are designed to train students at both the undergraduate and graduate level, preparing them for a career in both K-12 and university-level environments.
Mines offers teacher licensure in:
- Secondary Science (grades 7-12)
- Secondary Mathematics (grades 7-12)
- Middle Grades Mathematics (grades 6-8)
- K-12 Computer Science.
Licensure pathways can be started at any point in a Mines student’s career, including as an Mines alumni.
