Josephine migrated from her hometown of Sacramento, California and has lived in Colorado for over a decade. She is a proud first generation and post-traditional college graduate. She earned her degree after raising and unschooling her three children. Her passion is helping first-generation students from underserved communities realize their collegiate dreams. As a Graduate Recruiter here at Colorado School of Mines, Josephine supports recruitment efforts in Colorado and beyond. She is also responsible for reviewing applications and plays a key role in developing and supporting programming for prospective and accepted graduate students. Josephine currently resides in Lakewood with her husband, her three children, and her fur babies. She enjoys hiking, biking, and listening to the music of nature.
