PARKING INFORMATION

In preparation for your visit, please take a look at our campus map.

There are a number of parking lots across campus. The most convenient one to the Starzer Welcome Center (1812 Illinois St. Golden, CO 80401), home of undergraduate admissions, is our Visitor Lot, located at 1020 19^th St. Golden, CO 80401. Please park in any lot with “Pay Station” Locations. We will provide a parking code in your event confirmation email so you can park for free.

If you are attending a weekend event, all on-campus parking is free.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS

From the Denver International Airport (DIA)

It takes around 45 minutes to an hour depending on traffic to drive between Colorado School of Mines and DIA. From DIA, take Peña Boulevard (10 miles) south to I-70 west. Follow I-70 west (18 miles) and take exit 265 for CO-58 west. Follow CO-58 west to Washington Avenue (4 miles). Turn right on 19th Street and continue to Illinois Street and turn right. Then take your first left on 18th Street and park in parking lot E.

From Denver

Take 6th Avenue and head west into Golden. Turn right onto 19th Street and then left onto Illinois Street. Take your first left onto 18th Street and park in Lot E.

From Boulder

Take Highway 9 into Golden (turns into 6th Avenue East). Turn left onto 19th Street. Turn left onto Illinois Street and then take your first left onto 18th Street and park in Lot E.
