Impacts of wildfires on solar photovoltaic generation

Project Goals and Description:
This projects analyze the impact wildfires have on solar panels (PV) electricity generation in Colorado. Using air pollution data and solar generation data from NREL, we will analyze impacts nearby (and faraway) pollution from wildifres have on PV generation.

We will meet every week to review project progress and talk about questions you might have about the project. Dr. Tabares will directly supervise this and there is potential to write a confernece or journal paper.
