Project Info
Local atomic structure measurements with Transmission Electron Microscopy
Megan E Holtz
mholtz@mines.edu
Project Goals and Description:
This project will develop local electron diffraction techniques to determine crystal structure. Understanding the precise atomic locations in materials at interfaces is crucial for a wide variety of materials. This project will develop new scanning transmission electron microscopy tools and data analysis techniques to better understand how precession electron diffraction impacts crystal structure determination.
