Environmental Justice

Low income and minority communities are disproportionately harmed by pollution, but it is surprisingly difficult to figure out why. We are trying to study the spatial and temporal distribution of pollution from different industries to understand why, and hopefully to figure out how to improve environmental fairness.

Student Preparation


Qualifications

General interest. I am using GIS and statistical approaches, so those tools are particularly valuable, but other approaches would also be valuable.
