Exploring Simple Methods for Growth of Multi-Cation Oxide Nanowires
David Diercks | ddiercks@mines.edu
Nanowire structures offer the possibility of creating structures and doping concentrations that are not possible in bulk materials. In particular oxide nanowires offer possibilities to create materials for luminescent, photovoltaic, and catalytic applications from cheap and abundant materials. Fundamental understanding of the growth kinetics and thermodynamic limits are important steps toward such materials.
