Public Knowledge and Support of Oil and Gas Production

We will measure how accurate people’s knowledge about oil and gas production is, how much they support the industry, and what their knowledge and beliefs depend on. This has potentially large impacts on our understanding of how people behave, with academic, policy, and industry consequences.

Student Preparation
Qualifications
We have a range of tasks, so a range of skills would be useful. GIS would be particularly useful. The only prerequesite is interest in learning about the literature.

Practice at independent project execution, perhaps GIS skills, perhaps R or other statistical analysis skills.
