Subjectivity in building mold index through crowd sourcing

Shiling Pei | spei@mines.edu

Using crowd sourcing techniques to quantify the subjectivity in a classical mold index. Basically there is a 0-6 index scientists assign to mold growth in buildings. This index has some subjectivity to it. This project will develop survey and recruit a large group of people to help rate different mold conditions and come up with a statistical description on how “subjective” this current index system is.
