Virtual Reality for Engineering Training
Sebnem Duzgun | duzgun@mines.edu and Garrit Tucker | tucker@mines.edu
The student will work on Virtual reality (VR) topics ranging from material science to geosciences. S/he will learn how to develop simulations and its visualization in VR. An option to implement the models in AR (augmented reality) also exits.
Elucidate the interdisciplinary nature of the project
The simulations to be performed and visualized are from material sciences and geosciences. Hence student will interact with two disciplines and the research team from the two disciplines.
