Visualization and animation of electromagnetic Fields

Atef Elsherbeni
aelsherb@mines.edu
The project is aiming for providing animations and visualization of electromagnetic fields generated from antennas and waveguides. This is the first step in the development of virtual and/or augmented reality (VR and/or AR) modules for teaching electromagnetics and antenna subjects.

Grand Challenge: Engineer the tools of scientific discovery
The Instructor have similar modules developed more than 10 years ago and they need to be reupdated using recent MATLAB app developer and to create files suitable for VR/AR applications. The student will be given MATLAB codes to learn from them and to re-enhance their functionalities using advanced features of recent version of MATLAB.
