Title: Optimizing Research Workflow: A Guide to Efficient Reference Management

Learning the tools to effectively organize and retrieve scientific literature is integral to optimizing the research workflow and increasing research efficiency. This workshop, facilitated by Seth Vuletich, a Scholarly Communications Librarian, introduces citation management software, specifically focusing on the open-source solution, Zotero. Participants will gain insights into the fundamentals of Zotero, from setup to utilization, with a dedicated time for guided practice. By the end of the workshop, participants will have the knowledge and practical experience to efficiently manage bibliographies, making the often-daunting task of handling references more manageable.

In this workshop Ashley Weibel, Assistant Director of Undergraduate Research Scholars and Nationally Competitive Scholarships, shares strategies for writing effective personal statements as well as exercises for unlocking your creativity and originality in the writing process.
