Denise Dihle ’93

After graduating from Mines, Denise Dihle has never strayed far from campus. She still lives in Golden, running her own business, 360 Engineering, a mechanical engineering firm specializing in heating, ventilation, air conditioning and plumbing for commercial, government and educational buildings. Dihle said she wanted to be able to “explain highly complicated things in its simplest format, allowing owners to make risk decisions based on finances and not needing to understand the world of engineering.” Her company was recently recognized by the Department of Energy as 2016’s Woman-Owned Business of the Year and was recognized as Small Business of the Year in 2015 by the Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce.
