The date for the utility locate has changed from Tuesday, August 22nd to Wednesday, August 23rd due to worker shortage.
Mines is working with Xcel to cap three unused natural gas lines in the 19th Street right-of-way directly in front of Spruce Hall. To avoid daytime traffic impacts on 19th Street, the City of Golden has approved this work to occur between the hours of 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. The work will involve a single lane closure on 19th Street, between Illinois and Elm, with flaggers.
Utility locate work will take place overnight starting Tuesday, August 22nd with the actual capping of the gas lines to occur during the overnight hours starting Sunday evening, August 27th, through Wednesday, August 30th.
