Craig Dougherty

Business Analyst

Craig is originally from Northeast Ohio and moved to Denver in mid 2021. He has 6 years of experience in higher education but most recently comes from the consulting world. He enjoys traveling and exploring with his wife of over 4 years, Nicole. Craig is excited to work with the PMO and IT teams to help bring value to Mines. 

FASCINATING FACTS

• Craig had never skied or snowboarded before moving to Colorado but was quickly convinced to hit the slopes. He now enjoys heading to the mountains most weekends in the winter to snowboard, despite the hard falls he takes.

• Craig enjoys traveling to his wife’s native country of Bolivia each year. They stay in La Paz at an altitude over 12,000 feet!

• Craig’s first career was as a collegiate track and field coach. He coached sprints, jumps, hurdles, and multi-events. He coached a national champion and numerous all-Americans at the NAIA level during his few years coaching. Craig still loves to follow track and field and has a goal to attend the Paris Olympics in 2024.
