Julie Gabriel Sharpe

She/Her/Hers

Project Manager

Julie joined Mines in spring 2023, and she is excited to be a member of the ITS PMO team and to support campus goals and initiatives. She has over 20 years of professional experience in higher education managing large, complex IT projects, applications, people and processes, primarily relating to the management or support of enterprise-wide systems (ERPs) for multi-campus institutions. She has always had a passion for supporting higher education and has held various roles in admissions and registrar offices, as well as central IT units at numerous institutions in both Colorado and New Mexico. This has led to a deep appreciation for the importance of higher education, the enabling potential of strong leadership and good IT solutions, and the critical role of effective project and organizational change management practices. When not working, Julie enjoys doing anything outside, including taking long walks with her dog and hiking, skiing, seeing live music or traveling with her family and friends.

Certificate: Project Management Professional (PMP®)
