Bio: Jake is from Tuscaloosa, AL where he graduated from the University of Alabama with his Master’s of Business Administration in July 2021 and B.S. in Chemical and Biological Engineering the year before. During his time at UA, Jake also completed a co-op work program with Cherokee Nitrogen Chemical Company in Cherokee, AL. Jake joined the ASPPRC in August 2021 in pursuit of a PhD and will be working on minimizing and eliminating liquid metal embrittlement in resistance spot welds of 3rd generation advanced high strength steels.
