JOEL HOWARD

PhD Program, Department of Physics

Joel HowardI am passionate about quantum measurement and education and hope to develop my skills while helping bolster the Mines quantum engineering effort! As a quantum engineer trainee I look forward to rounding out my skills in experimental quantum computing, exchanging ideas and expertise with fellow trainees, and learning from our excellent mentors. I plan to be a part of the future quantum engineering workforce, and am excited for the technical and professional preparation the QENRT program affords.

In the off hours of qubit measurement I enjoy reading, hiking, and playing cello in the Boulder Symphony Orchestra.
