JOEL HOWARD
PhD Program, Department of Physics
I am passionate about quantum measurement and education and hope to develop my skills while helping bolster the Mines quantum engineering effort! As a quantum engineer trainee I look forward to rounding out my skills in experimental quantum computing, exchanging ideas and expertise with fellow trainees, and learning from our excellent mentors. I plan to be a part of the future quantum engineering workforce, and am excited for the technical and professional preparation the QENRT program affords.
In the off hours of qubit measurement I enjoy reading, hiking, and playing cello in the Boulder Symphony Orchestra.
