Fernando Sandoval Garza has been a phenomenal example for all of the social behaviors that restrict the spread of COVID-19. Dorie Chen, department manager in Geology and Geological Engineering, has done an amazing job this semester and over the summer keeping our department and our home, Berthoud Hall, safe. She has managed an array of issues in our building, including graduate student access, lab access, reconfiguring classrooms, and she done many other jobs that have kept our students, faculty, and staff safe. Thanks Dorie, for everything you have done this semester and for all of your work over the summer!...
