Dorie Chen, department manager in Geology and Geological Engineering, has done an amazing job this semester and over the summer keeping our department and our home, Berthoud Hall, safe. She has managed an array of issues in our building, including graduate student access, lab access, reconfiguring classrooms, and she done many other jobs that have kept our students, faculty, and staff safe. Thanks Dorie, for everything you have done this semester and for all of your work over the summer!

Thanks to Cheryl Medford, in Geology and Geological Engineering. Cheryl was the face of GGE this semester, keeping the front office open through all of the pandemic ups and downs. She works all day long with her mask on, a task that takes patience and perseverance. And she is always ready to help everyone—faculty, staff and especially students. Thanks Cheryl for everything you did this semester!
