Dear Mines students,

The Mines Activities Council has an amazing slate of events planned for you today and tomorrow to celebrate Homecoming — both in-person and virtually. They’ve done an awesome job making sure that all in-person events meet and exceed the health and safety guidelines from the state and county. In light of recent COVID-19 numbers on campus, however, we’ve decided to adjust the schedule slightly, out of an abundance of caution.

While all outdoor and virtual events will occur as planned, all in-person, indoor events will be relocated to outdoor locations on campus, with the exception of tonight’s Trivia Night and Saturday’s FSL Concert, which will move to virtual only.

Here is the full Homecoming schedule, updated with location changes in bold:

As a reminder, mask wearing and proper social distancing is required at all times during in-person events — moving outside doesn’t mean we can let our guard down. Mines staff will also be on hand to help ensure events stay fun and safe for everyone and in compliance with the Oredigger Promise.

Happy Homecoming!
