Students from Thorson and Grandey First-Year Honors traveled to Belize for spring break! They studied rainforest and reef ecology and the complex ways conservation efforts intersect with the tourism economy. They also got to go tubing through a cave system, snorkel the barrier reef, and give back to the local communities through service learning projects.
