Outage Time: 7:00 am to 3:00 pm
Purpose: Replace electric transformer at Beck Venture Center
System(s) Involved: The electric system at Beck Venture Center, the electric system at CTLM
Effect(s) on Occupants:
- The electric system at Beck Venture Center will be shut down during the entire time. Normal building occupancy will not be permitted. The fire sprinkler system and fire alarm system will remain online. No known classes or events are occurring. Only emergency and service ITS and FM staff are permitted in the building during this outage.
- The electric system at CTLM will have to short shut-down periods of about 10 to 20 minutes near the beginning and end of this duration. While occupancy of the building during this time is allowed, the two short outage events could be disruptive to people using the building. The building generator will operate emergency lighting during the short outages, but not the normal building lighting, power, or HVAC systems. The fire sprinkler system and fire alarm system will remain online. No known classes or events are occurring.
