Office of Technology Transfer: Resources

Resources for INVENTORS

The Office of Technology Transfer encourages Mines researchers to submit invention disclosures for those inventions they feel are new, novel and non-obvious. If you’re not sure if your invention is at a point that it can be patented, please contact the office and we’ll map out a pathway consistent with your academic goals.

Mines Accelerator Program
The Mines Accelerator program is made possible by generous funding from the Mines Foundation and the State of Colorado’s Advanced Industries program. The RFP is open year-round for Mines researchers ready to move their inventions closer to the market.  Click here to view the RFP.

Resources for PARTNERS

The Office of Technology Transfer regularly interacts with state, local, national and international tech-based economic development communities. Visit the Available Technologies page for solutions or ideas on how Mines can help with your commercial venture, or contact us to get connected with the appropriate researcher. If you would like to be involved in the Mines startup community, please contact the Mines Venture Center.

For questions about working with Mines undergraduate students to help further research, please contact the McNeil Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation or the Mines Capstone Design team.
