Antennas for Biomedical Applications

Atef Elsherbeni
aelsherb@mines.edu

Project Goals and Description:

Antenna design for on body or implanted in the body are to be designed. Students will learn how to design planar antennas in general using electromagnetic software package. Also, the knowledge of how to represent human tissues in an electromagnetic solver will be worked on. The final product would be specialized antennas for specific biomedical applications.

More Information:

Grand Challenge: Advance personalized learning.
Printed antenna lecture notes. Electromagnetics simulations software Recently compiled survey on implanted antennas Advisor help in all stages of the project
