Developing a lake water forecast model
Eric Anderson
ejanderson@mines.edu
Project Goals and Description:
Forecast models of surface water can be a useful tool for the public and research. These models can be simulated for historical events or run in a real-time forecast mode. In this project, you will help setup a computer model to simulate lake conditions for a Colorado lake (or more than one). You will get hands-on experience with surface water modeling, application of weather forecast data, remote sensing data, and potential for experience in "real-time" forecast operations.
