Project Goals and Description:

The project aims at exploring Open AI tools for assessing community resilience after earthquakes.  A group of sociologists made in-depth interviews with earthquake victims in Turkey and they have difficulty analyzing these interview transcripts.  The project will use their text data to identify patterns in the interviews quantitatively, using Open AI tools as well as data analytic methods like the cosine similarity index and other indices of similarity. This will allow us to categorize earthquake victims` resilience indicators and the potential pattern of the indicators.  Then we will classify the resilience indicators using clustering algorithms to reveal the patterns.
