Mines Sustainability Scavenger Hunt:
Stop #4

Residence Life and Elm Hall!
Residence Life is a great place to go for replacement Blaster Cards, dining plan information, and any questions you may have about living on campus. But, did you know it’s also a great place to get your free RTD card? As a student at Mines, you are entitled to a free RTD pass that works during the school year! Green your commute by taking the bus or light rail to get to campus and beyond!
Let’s help Green Your Move-In. Around your floors and halls you may see some posters and information encouraging you to be “green” at this time of year. Using a smart power strip can greatly reduce plug-load energy by allowing you to control with a phone app. Wearing layers and keeping the set points on your thermostat between 72-74 with AC and 68-70 with heating greatly reduces the building’s energy needs. Follow @MinesGreenLife for more energy saving tips!

Hint for the next stop: if you’re a first-year looking for a banquet-style meal, you’ll probably end up here
