Get Connected with Mines Resources!
Between June and August, New Student & Transition Services will host a series of Welcome Webinars for incoming students and their support systems! These virtual webinars will feature various offices and time-sensitive information to help best prepare you for your Mines experience.
The 2025 Welcome Webinar schedule is listed below and registration for the webinars will open on Thursday, May 1st! You will need the student’s applicant portal login information to register for the summer webinars. The webinars will also be recorded and posted to this website for those who are unable to attend. Please note that the webinar registrations are first come, first serve and have registration limits due to capacity requirements. Registration for each session will close 48 hours prior to the start of each event.

Student Health & Wellness
Wednesday, June 11, 3pm MDT
Join us as we talk about all things student health on campus. Topics to be covered include required immunizations, student health insurance, required summer trainings, and counseling services at Mines.

Major Decisions: Find Your Fit and Feel Good About It

Not sure about your major? Let’s figure it out. You don’t have to have it all figured out, but you do deserve a major that fits who you are and where you’re headed. In this live webinar, we’ll walk you through:
- The wide world of engineering majors at Mines
- How to connect your interests and values to potential paths
- Real student stories about how they found the right fit
You’ll leave with a clearer sense of direction, more confidence in your choices, and excitement for what’s ahead. This session is especially helpful if you want to confirm your intended major before the Registrar starts building your schedule on July 1.
