Group Fitness Courses
Free to all members of the campus community – see schedule
Registration for the free Group Fitness Classes will open Feb. 15. If you are a member you can register for whatever classes you plan to attend on Feb. 22. If you are not a member and you are interested in TRX or Cycling on the 22nd, registration is strongly recommended. You can register in person at the Motion Lab or Student Rec Center front desk beginning Feb. 15.

Relaxation Station
Coordinated by Mines Peer Educators, the Relaxation Station is a calm, quiet space to help participants destress and unwind as an intermission from the workshop activities. Small snacks will be provided, such as tea and cookies, along with some small activity items such as coloring books and fidget toys for those that are interested.

Healthy Eating for Busy Lifestyles
In this presentation we’ll go over the basic components of healthy eating, meal planning, and meal prepping for busy lifestyles.

QPR Training
QPR stands for Question, Persuade, and Refer—3 simple steps that anyone can learn to help save a life from suicide. Just as people trained in CPR help save thousands of lives each year, people trained in QPR learn how to recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis and how to question, persuade, and refer someone to help.

Unmasking Potential: Imposter Syndrome for Personal and Professional Growth
We all have insecurities, and many of us will experience an overwhelming level of self-doubt that can keep us stuck at some point in our lives. This is also known as and referred to as, Imposter Syndrome. Attend this workshop to learn more about this phenomenon, and its impact on our health, careers, and relationships. You will leave with various strategies on how to harness these negative feelings into achieving your goals.

Free fajita lunch for the first 300 students, with prizes awarded for participation in the day’s events as well as the presentation of the inaugural Every Oredigger Awards (undergraduate and graduate).

The keynote speaker is Nathaan Demers, PsyD. Dr. Demers is a clinical psychologist with experience in a variety of clinical settings including community mental health, therapeutic boarding schools, integrated primary care, and most notably college counseling. For the past decade, Nathaan has been a thought leader and innovator in the digital behavioral health space, specifically researching and developing upstream behavioral health interventions for institutions of higher education. Currently, Nathaan is the Director of Strategic Partnerships with Mantra Health, a preeminent digital mental health provider bringing accessible, high-quality mental health and wellness solutions to colleges and universities. In addition to his clinical work, he has implemented a variety of programs at the state/regional/national level and completed his dissertation on the construct of “maturity” with adolescent and young adult populations.

Balance & Self Care
Caring for ourselves is an essential part of our well-being at Mines, along with having relationships with other people and being involved in our larger world. Learn more about creating balance between work, school, and personal life, how and when it can help us best, validate what we are already doing (you might be surprised!), and learn from others about techniques you hadn’t considered. This workshop is for Every Oredigger, providing encouragement and connection for being a well-balanced human being!

Neurodivergence and Mental Health: What Orediggers Should Know
In this workshop, we provide an introduction to the concept of neurodiversity and highlight some of the challenges neurodivergent members of the Mines community may face. Then we identify strategies for responding to these challenges that can be employed both by neurodivergent individuals and the Mines community.
